Concurso 2007
On the weekend of September 22/23, Claudia and Susanna (galgo.cat) visited the Finca "El Retamar" in Sonseca (Toledo), to watch the "Concurso Nacional Morfológico de la Raza" which was organised by the Club Nacional del Galgo Espaņol (CNGE). The first 32 Galgos of the concurso (16 males and 16 females) may now participate in the Campeonato de Galgos Espaņoles en Campo, the club championship in hunting competition. This underlines the goal of the CNGE to support the breed Galgo Español by only allowing very typical Galgos Españoles in this very special hunting competition of the club. |

In total, there were far more than 100 galgos entered. |

In addition, there was a class for children of the club members about the breed, care and training as well as basic rules for hunting competitions and also a theoretical and practical class for the adults to become judge on concursos of the CNGE. |
