Today, we report about our journey to France and Spain. |
First of all, the dogs... |
...had a lot of opportunities... |
...to run... |
...and play... |
...at the beach... |
...of Mimizan! |
But also Claudia and Thomas had planned a little excursion! |
Then we continued our journey to Spain... |
For the first night, we stopped at this prehistoric stone tomb (fortunately, it wasn't Halloween yet). |
In Sonseca, we met Juan Antonio... |
...who let his Galgos (Valle Estrella) "chase" after quinces. |
We've already reported about the Concurso in Sonseca, before. |
After that, we moved on... |
...to Antonio, who breeds Galgos... |
...close to Badajoz (kennel: de la Dehesa Extremeña). |
Here, the youngest ones have a nap in the sun. |
These two friends really "excited" our dogs. |
Huracan, one of Antonio's Galgos. |
Together, we went... |
...to the old town of Badajoz... |
...for a nice evening. |
We continued the trip, now heading North... |
...visited the "Toros de Guisando"... |
...and enjoyed the great weather! We spent two days at the house of our friend Susanna, who lives close to Barcelona. |
Back in France... |
...we visited Roderick... |
...who cooked some great food for us (e.g. "Tarte Tatin", just for Claudia). |
Bon Appétit! |
In Narbonne, we enjoyed deserted beaches. |
At least one took a bath in the sea! |
Afterwards, there was some culture for everyone... |
...at the famous "Pont du Gard". |
Finally, we visited Fabienne and her Galgos Rayma Cagueme (Uschi's brother)... |
...and Ukelele's Lolita. |
What a strenuous journey! |
