We travelled on to Huangshan by express train. Huangshan (Yellow Mountains) is a picturesque mountain range in the eastern Chinese province of Anhui, but the surrounding villages also have their own special charm. We visited the old town of Tunxi, took a day trip to the Huangshan Mountains, including cable car rides and a hike through the West Lake Gorge. The old village of Hong Cun and a walk through the old village of Xidi were also on the agenda. And in the evenings, we really enjoyed walking through the colourfully illuminated streets or along the river in pleasant weather.
