Already last weekend, a two-day international exhibition took place in Wels (Austria). Little Lobito Gonzales was there and got best junior on both days. He now meets the requirements for the title "Austrian Junior Champion". Congratulations to Gonzales and his owner! Here are the complete results of the Galgos.

Good news from Tulln in Austria: Little Lobito Gonzales got the BOB out of the junior class among 7 Galgos at the Bundessieger Exhibition which took place yesterday! Con-gratulations to him and his owner! Here are the results.

Last weekend, Claudia and Susanna visited the Finca "El Retamar" in Sonseca (Toledo), to watch the "Concurso Nacional Morfológico de la Raza" which was organised by the Club Nacional del Galgo Español (CNGE). The first 32 Galgos of the concurso (16 males and 16 females) may now partici-pate in the Campeonato de Galgos Españoles en Campo, the club championship in hunting competition. This underlines the goal of the CNGE to support the breed Galgo Español by only allowing very typical Galgos Españoles in this very special hunting competition of the club. Here is our photo report.

In the September issue of the Spanish dog magazine El Mundo del Perro you will find a 30 pages special part about the breed of the month Galgo Español. Among that, there is an article which was written by us, many photos from Susanna and us and in addition, a poster of Little Lobito Faralaes.

At the international coursing in Hoope Little Lobito Ebro was first among the Galgos today with 106 points. Rayma Loleilo and Little Lobito Carlito followed with 99 resp. 96 points on places two and three. Congratulations to all of them!

We are back from our three weeks Scandinavia tour. So, there is a lot to tell, but we need some time to write it all down. On our way home, we made a short stop in Bad Windsheim where this year's Special German Galgo Show took place yesterday. There, we met Little Lobito Francisca and Little Lobito Gonzales which made us very happy. Here are the results. For all, who want to read something from and about us in the meantime: in the German dog magazine "Der Hund" (edition August 2007), a breeder portrait about the Little Lobitos has been published and the "Scandinavian Sighthound Magazine" presents a multi-page article of us in its current issue. In addition, you will find another breeder interview with us in the club magazine of the Norsk Myndenklubb.

Yesterday, the CAC exhibition in Lage took place, where the Azawakhs as well as the Mediterranean breeds held their special yearly exhibition. 85 resp. 38 dogs of these breeds were entered - a very high number. After heavy rainfall during the night, it got more or less dry with even a little sunshine by the start of the show. So, we had a nice and interesting exhibition. Little Lobito Guepardo (photo, please click to enlarge) was presented in the junior class for the first time and got Ex1, Junior-BOB. Our Lara (Rayma LaClaudia) got Ex1, VDH, CAC and BOB. The Galgos were judged by Mrs. Gabriela Veiga from Portugal.

On the exhibition in Brno/CZ which took place last Saturday, Little Lobito Estrella got Ex1, CAC, CACIB and is now Czech Champion. Little Lobito Gerónimo got the Junior-CAC and finally also the BOB. Congratulations!

Today, the FCI world championship took place on the racing track in Sachsenheim. Among the males won Brio Bandolero del Niños Vencedores (B: Hübchen, O: Reuser/Atsma), and among the females, Whoopy (B: - , O: Hahn) was first.

Yesterday, we were in Issum-Sevelen, where we spent a nice day with sunny weather. Little Lobito Gemma (photo, click to enlarge) had her successful debut which has been rewarded with a "very promising". In addition, Paramour Celebrate the Great (Ex1, CAC, VDH, BM) and our Bärbel (Little Lobito Barbarella - Ex1, VDH, BOB) were entered. The judge was Mr. Buitenkamp from The Netherlands.

Today, we enjoyed the sunny weather on the CAC exhibition in Haan-Hochdahl. Unfortunately, Little Lobito Guepardo, who was entered in the puppy class, lost his way, so that he was a few minutes too late and missed his part. Nevertheless, we used the opportunity to take some more photos of him. You can see one of them on his page. Here are the results.

We have counted all the votes! The photo (12/06) of the "Marsupilami" with "intelligent" facial expression wins by a narrow margin. Meantime, the three winners of our prizes have been drawn by lot and have been informed already. The prizes go to Germany, Sweden and Italy. We again thank all participants and hope that those who did not win, are not too sad about it!

Last weekend, Little Lobito Castelló was successful at the two-days exhibition in Langerwisch: on both days, he got the BOB, and on Saturday, he also was chosen for Best in Show (BIS) - like in the years 2005 and 2003 (junior class) before. Congratulations! Here are all results.

While we are still "hibernating" in front of our fireplace, others are already busy: on the international exhibition in Mouscron (Belgiun), Little Lobito Faraona got Ex1, CAC, CACIB and BOB. The reserve-CAC/-CACIB was given to Sonia de Valle Estrella, best male (Ex1, CAC, CACIB) was Azote. The judge was Mr. J.-J. Dupas from France. Congratulations to the owners!
